Your Hidden Chakra~

-We all had those days.
-Where we got our salary or allowance, we tend not budget at all and spend as much as we can but try to live it out till the next pay day.
-We've all been there.
-Always racing to see who gets their first paycheck or trying to get your parents happy so you can get their money in their pockets.
Its a common experience that we all share. And because of this is happening, everyone is blinded by the value of money. So blinded that you couldn't tell if there was huge pile of money right under your eyes. (Is it me or am I getting eyebags?) This blindness of money is only an effect to a cause. And that cause is within each and everyone of us... Don't give me that look like you never had that feeling. Fine, if you don't know what I'm talking about, let me give you some hints.

  • It's color green.
  • It can take control over our body.
  • It screams to your mind and leads to disastrous outcome.
  • It hurts yourself and others around you.
"What? Are you claiming that we have incredible Hulk in us?", you asked...
And I laughed because of your misunderstanding,"No, I'm not talking about that green steroid monster or Jean Claude Van-Damme. I'm talking about a feeling that is called envy and greed."
ENVY AND GREED
One or two of the most dangerous and sinful of all feelings...
Anyone can get envious or greedy. But if you can control that to a limit (In which the incredible Hulk won't have to come out while wrecking your clothes off), you will be wealthy. Wealth is a very powerful tool but it has its downside to a person if he/she has those feelings of envy and greed. It drives them out of control to actually start buying all the way till the debt floods them up like in Titanic's kitchen. Again, it's dangerous to have these emotions running through your life and I'm gonna teach you how to control it better.
HOW TO CONTROL ENVY AND GREED
Envy, by definition of princeton, "spite and resentment at seeing the success of another (personified as one of the deadly sins)". Everyone gets jealous and that is normal. But to the point of you hating that person that you wanna do something illegal and wrong is.. well.. Illegal and wrong. To control such a feeling, you need to find the inner peace. (Does all this sounds yoga-ish to you?)
Greed, by definition of princeton, "excessive desire to acquire or possess more (especially more material wealth) than one needs or deserves". Everyone can get greedy as well and that again, is normal. But to the point of you desperately getting it no matter what it takes, even if it means doing something illegal and wrong as well is... sinful. =D To control such a feeling, you would need understanding than inner peace.
You can read how to control them in more detail via this link: Unlimited Happiness
Or if you can find other sources on how to control emotions effectively, please do let me via leaving me a comment below and I'll see if it's quite credible as you claim and post it on this blog.

He is also a blogger like me and I have stumbled on his site long before I started Bruneian Dollar blogging.
Now after you fully understand how to control your emotions, the next step is developing.. wait for it... Your Hidden Chakra!

Once you can control your emotions you can do the following:

  • Perform optimized financial planning
  • Perform your task or duty at work with better quality
  • Positively networking with people at your immediate surroundings and beyond.
  • Able to spread positivity towards other people.
  • (I believe there's more here but I will edit and update this post when it comes to my mind.)
FINANCIAL PLANNING
So first of all, let's talk about optimizing and making full use of financial planning. So what is financial planning? It is to, of course, effectively manage your funding. Whatever pay you get, it has to be allocated coefficiently to your wants and needs properly. "But planning for it is too hard.", some of you might complain about. "Well, that's because you let yourself be tempted to spend. Again, control your emotions from spending and start planning."

Like the great man who got shocked by lightning while flying his kite with a key attached to the middle of it, once said, "Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail." - Benjamin Franklin

So let's start planning by looking at the 2 most simple categories of your whole financial accounting studies. Expenses and Income. (Note: my concepts and examples are just a fraction to gaining more wealth and effectively be more financially independent. Later in another blog, I will discuss with you more on what materials can do for you instead of you for the materials.)

  • Expenses
    • They are what as it says, expenses. Things you buy on either necessities or just junk that is a waste of money. So in order to get more money through expenses, you need to cut down your expenses. And that's what we're gonna do but first, what are the types of expenses? Well they are as follows:
      • Fixed expenses
      • Variable expenses
      • Long-term expenses
      • Other expenses
    • Fixed expenses are the things you pay for it's everyday usage. Like a house is a fixed expense on paying off the mortgage, rent, or even a car, physical properties that has some usage to your needs and plus the utilities you get to that physical property like electricity, water and gas but not car fuel. Fixed expenses can sometimes be reduced by not using the utilities or use less of it or live in a smaller house or smaller car. All in the name of making more money.
    • Variable expenses are the items you pay regularly and can be varied or changed or negotiated or lowered or even not needed in certain situations. Like food, drinks, car fuel, Top up cards for your mobile, etc. Now it's a bit extreme to actually disregard food and drinks because they are your source of energy but they can be lowered down to reduce expenses like; eat nasi katok 3 times a day for the whole month is already BND90 spent(This is just an example and its not recommended to do so due to health issues). So keep finding ways to reduce your variable expenses to a minimum and be able to live with it.
    • Long-term expenses are things that you buy for a long period of time, like monthly installment, subscriptions, buying stuff on loan, etc. Now these should not be in your account too long and not too much of it too if you want wealth. Because this actually will bring a lot of debt in the future once the economy gets inflated and bites your bottom so hard, you would regret joining a monthly subscription to Fitness Zone. (No offence to that company but the price is too high and some of us can't afford to get that buffed up appearance.)
    • Other expenses are other stuff that you buy out of the blue which was not in the financial budgeting or planning. This may be in some form of emergency repairs to your house or car or to pay off your medical bills (Thank god for we are Bruneians and medication here is free!), etc. Whatever it is, you need to set a contingency in your financial budget just in case these happens. It's avoidable enough to not be considered an expense if you're careful enough.
  • Income
    • Ah, the sweet word and command to call for your money coming into your balance account. These incomes don't necessarily come from a job or allowance provided by an educational institute (UBD) or your parents (Mom and Dad). They can also be coming from other sources as well, like banks paying you back after interests with Unit Trust plans or your business is doing well and you get monthly income or you hijacked a bank and stole all of its money. Just kidding about robbing a bank part. However you get your extra income, it must be done and be legal in order to be considered as a passive income or from what Azizi Ali, author of "How to become a millionaire landlord", says get an afterburner! (In order to understand what he means, buy his book and read it yourself. It's worth it and I recommend it.) The Types of passive income are as follows:
      • Monthly income
      • Irregular income
      • Explosive income
    • Monthly income - as it states you get paid every end of the month for as long as you work. This can be attained from a regular job or from a successful business or picking up rent from your housing properties.
    • Irregular income - It is an income which comes at certain times, not always, it's not guaranteed to be there for you and most of all, the income can be very small to very big. One of the examples of where irregular income comes from is Forex. You trade some lots, and you wait till it hits the stopping point. Your pay will be determined by how much it moves from where you start trade to where it ends. Totally irregular~ (Note: It's very risky to do Forex Trading and I'm not recommending anyone to do so. So trade at your own risk.)
    • Explosive income - don't let the name excite you. It's quite the similar as Irregular Income. Except its limitless. It can be either be a few hundred dollars or thousands or even more than a 7 figure! But the time for you get it is unexpectingly long. This kind of income comes along from any investment that looks into long-term. Like investing property, savings in the bank that accumulate as time goes by, etc.
Wow! I've said a lot and explained a lot too in this blog. I hope I didn't twist your brain on this much information. Anyways, the things I've mentioned above took me a lot of time researching and finding out how to focus and control your own financial freedom and how to avoid debt. There are other ways to effectively financial plan yourself if you start googling or find the links to get better financially and mentally. All these are meant to help you gain wealth and expand it to beyond your dreams. It's okay to be greedy but not to the point of difficulty, self-destruction and hurting others (intentionally) as well in the process. And I call that feeling as your hidden chakra. Harness it and use it wisely.

Well that's all for today and thank you for reading and hope you turn your financial dependence to financial independent soon. Got any questions? Like to add more to my blog or think there's something that needs editing? Leave it in the comment section below and thanks in advance.

-Let the power of money be with you~
