Save fuel cost by using Diesel engine!

The Festive season where everyone gets ready to wear good looking clothes, drive their way to their friends/family's house and celebrate! They eat, drink, talk and catch up on the latest news or happenings around their social network. They even find the time to get to know more people beyond their circle of social network. In the midst of all this of going to places, a transport is needed. And that's what this post is about. Your transportation.

There are ways to move from Point A to Point B. (Point A being your house; Point B being your destination.) Walking, running, sprinting, cycling, driving, riding, flying and hopping are all the ways you can reach to Point B. 3 Modes of Transport are air, land and water. These are simple and that since everyone knows this, and if they are smart enough for their own good or journey, they would understand what I am on about. So what am I talking about really? I'm talking about having a great time on your journey whilst having a peace of mind that your journey won't cost you a lot in the end.

During Festive Seasons (be it Christmas, Hari Raya, Hanukkah, Trick or Treating, etc), to every responsible adult or financial decision makers in the house-hold. They will always make a budget or making sure that the cost of celebration doesn't lead them to debt after festive season is over. I mean, sure, you can't really put a price on certain things like; your family's smile, the gratitude of friendship, the priceless moment of love between individual, etc. But I always hear this statement,"It's the thought that counts." So if your thought is spending less to get more, then that is a valuable thought and it should count!

So in my research of trying to spend less fuel for more mileage or other source of fuel alternative, I have found that if you switch to a diesel engine and use a Biodiesel fuel to feed your car, you can save a lot of money. Though you may need some time to make some. I've even had a chat with a friend about this from Newcastle University and he mentions that this is going to be the future alternative fuel source in Brunei. America has already started this and it's rapidly expanding. By farming and cultivating algae, they will make a selective method and turn each algae cells into Biofuel. Mind you that this is a bacteria that exists from water. Algae is our new source of fuel. If you look elsewhere, you will find that algae is not the only alternative. Some use Used Vegetable Cooking Oil (also known as SVO) to power the engine. You can learn how to make all this by watching it on youtube or reading other guides on Home-made Biofuel.

Think about it. You drive around in your car, you pay the petrol, then you drive again. If it were diesel, you can look at two ways. You can buy the diesel fuel or make it yourself for free. Provided you have either algaes or use your own used vegetable cooking oil. And no, it doesn't harm the diesel engine at all. So what are you waiting for? Switch to diesel engine today and save your transportation cost!

Earning as a Freelancer

About a few days ago, I was introduced to this site where all freelancers can take up projects and get paid for. This is what I was waiting for. How does it all work? This is how:
  • You sign up and register your own account.
    • This includes your method of getting paid of either check or Paypal account.
    • Also a list of available skills in which you will provide to any employer who's interested. Though these are only skills that can be done online. (For example, you can only do some freelancing web work and sending data. But you cannot be a freelancing cook for them.)
    • And then, they will provide you 15 free bids to bid on a project. Every month you will get 15 free bids to bid on more projects.
    • Bid is just the same as any auction. You bid the item you want. The highest bidder wins the item and pays for it in the end. But in this case, your bidding for them to pay you. You bid at a price where the employer pays you for the project you want to do. After the project is completed, you get paid. This has to be done professionally.
  • After you have your own account, you can do the following:
    • You can start bidding and if you're a new freelancer, you have to bid on the trial projects. The other kind of projects (featured, nonpublic and public) is open to all freelancers.
    • Whatever you bid, it has to be enough for the employer to pay for. The cheaper you ask for, the better. Of course people wants more out of the project right? So be wise in submitting a bid.
  • After you successfully get hired by them, you must to complete the assigned project as soon as possible and with quality.
    • This may include: Effective communication between you and your employer, time spent discussing about the project, deliver drafts then re-do if needed, after-market project, etc
  • Once a project is completed, you have to give your employer a feedback and so would your employer do for you.
    • Feedbacks are important to gain more successful hires from other employer after the previous employer's recommendation.
    • More feedbacks, more employers' eyes will be looking at you and hire you instead.
It's quite simple and easy to say. But it's hard to do. As of now, I'm already doing 2 projects from 2 employers. That would mean a lot of time spent working on those projects. (Time estimated to finish and be free to blog again = after 2 weeks) So in the meantime, if you're looking for a job and you can do it online, why not join and be a freelancer? (Note: All payments aren't the same. But most are USD from my projects.)

Go ahead and sign up by clicking here!

Magic Safe

So I've read this one book called the Magic Safe. It looked like a kids book for anyone who wants to learn financing in a story-like content. It was interesting and I got curious. And as I was reading, questions kept running through my mind. "What is the Magic Safe? How does it work? I know it's a story but how is it anything related to real life? How did that money grow? How?" Lots of those kinds of questions ran around in my mind as I kept reading the book finding the answer to those curious-enough-to-kill-a-cat questions. After the story ended, questions still left unanswered. But the book wasn't finished. I have not read the author's last comment or closing of the book despite the author's story conclusion. And from there, all of my queries were answered just like that.

So what is this Magic Safe? It's actually a bank account. What the author explains was to put your savings into this particular bank account as an investment monthly and then the money saved will increase and will be able to withdraw for those in need of it financially. How did the story go with it? It went something like this:

  • Started from a young boy working at a Hardware store. Selling and organizing the inventory within to the customers.
  • As soon as he got his first payment, he has no idea on what to do with it. With him living with his mom, he decided to buy a present for her.
  • Soon he found a shop selling all kinds a trinket and there he found a simple box. Asked the manager about it and he said,"It's magic! It's a Magic Safe. It will make your money come to life and start growing as you put your money in it."
  • The young boy has no clue if its true and decided to give it a try.
  • As time went by, he saved 10% of his earnings into the Magic Safe. Mind you he only made $300 from his job.
  • 2 years went by, by calculations he made 30 x 24 = $720. Unfortunately, he got sick to the stomach and went to the hospital.
  • The doctor said he needs to get his sphincter removed because it's going to blow. And he needs $3000 for the operation.
  • Knowing full well how much his money in his Magic Safe, he unlocked it and open to find... $3000!! (I was just as surprised when I read the book and it baffled my mind to the max!)
  • He never knew there could be so much money after 2 years of hardwork and savings could total up to $3000. Just enough to pay for his medical bills. His mother did nothing to give the young boy that amount(She's never had a job to begin with except being the housewife.)
  • As the story went, he did like any ordinary person would go through.
    • Natural Disaster to their home which would cost them another few thousand dollars to rebuild or live in another home.
    • Wedding went wrong and needed to pay damages.
    • The place where he worked was closing down and he bought the business to be his own.
  • All of that happened and he pulled through because he was diligently save his money, put it into his Magic Safe. And when the time is right where he needs the money the most, he unlocked it and found the money to be just enough for whatever he needs to pay for.
  • So he had or made a few more Magic Safes for his children and his wife, for their education and a contingency if he had left the world.
  • The End
Moral of the story: Start saving. But if you just save normally, it wouldn't help much. Therefore, save it into an investment like Unit Trust Accounts, Principal + Account, Investment Account, etc. They're services are there for a reason. For us to start being financially smart with our money and manage it carefully throughout our life. This way, our money will not just sit around. Instead, they are made to work hard for us. Our money is alive! But it's not like us. It doesn't think, it doesn't feel, it doesn't get tired, it doesn't get sick, it doesn't need a break and furthermore, it doesn't have its own needs. It's our 24/7 slave worker and our savior in the end. Hence, it's a good way for us to fall back on when we need money to save ourselves from the fiery pits of hellfire like debts.

Banks. They are there for a better reason and that reason is not just saving. So start looking into what kind of investment services they provide and start making or saving money through them the smart way.

Raya is coming and we still arn't making any progress says the Captain

Soon, Raya will be coming around the corner. As this is going on, I noticed that my blog isn't going so well. Regardless, I did have a few comments and people added my contact email on MSN Messenger instead of posting up a comment with questions or additional information about my blog. Though the problem was most of them are malay. So I found out what went wrong with my blog. It's not in malay. So due to that circumstances, I believe I may need to translate each and everyone of my blog posts into malay. That, my friend, will take a lot of my time.

Later, I will be posting up the same topics and more in malay. So it will enable people to understand what I'm talking about and able to implement what I've mentioned in blogs.

In the meantime, I would like to ask the readers or fans of Bruneian Dollar, to do the following in the comment section below:

  • Ask - There's no harm in asking a question or query when you are looking on how to make some money by reading my blogs. You can ask me like; how do you do so and so? or what if so and so would happen when I do so and so? I'll answer them whenever I can and how skillful I can with it.
  • Share - If you are successful in an investment or have any interesting tip on making extra cash that you do daily or every now and again, post it up! Let's make Brunei a bit richer than it was before together.
  • Discuss - I'm sure no one has gone to the Bruneian Dollar social site (bruneiandollar.ning.com) and join up as a member. Instead, why not discuss them here? Got a good business plan? Got an investment but not sure if its wise to take it? Leave it in the comment section.
  • Request - After chatting to some people, I noticed that a majority were waiting for a specific kind of blog. Like Forex trading or something. I would post that up but if there are others who would not do FX, it would be a loss to both Bruneian Dollar and the readers time if the blog posted is not to your requirement. So to follow up, I would like you all to request, what would be the next blog to be about? Do you want me to find out and research more into FX? Property Investment? Banking and Finance? Whatever it is that you already have in mind, let me know in the comment section.
And that's it. Just 4 simple things to do and its totally optional to everyone. Though I do like some feedback from you all at the same time. Until next time, thanks for reading the Bruneian Dollar.

The Magic of Technology

Back during the world where wars were a daily routine and exercise. Everyone feared of death and being up close and personal with their opponents in battle. And in days of old, there were mystics, magicians, wizards, sorcerers, witches, warlocks and tricksters who knew once we thought was lost - "Magic". Magic was so convenient. Anyone who learned its secret was able to live easy and some who used magic was more than just peaceful. They found it as another tool for war. Hence, everyone who knew about magic was either killed, forgotten or passed away silently into the past.

So what does this gotta do with making money? It's about the magic. Nobody believe that magic exist. Surely, I'm not telling you to believe in it. What I'm trying to say is that there is something that we have, that is similar to magic. It's called technology. It made our lives easier and convenient just as magic did back then. Technology provided us new jobs in IT. The world of Technology is the way of the future. It is our new "Magic".

So how do we make money with it? Well just as I mentioned, "Anyone who learned its secret was able to live easy..." So if you learned the secret of IT, you might be able to live just as easy to. But of course everything has its price. As it was mentioned back in the day, apprentices of all sorts of magic would have to suffer and pay a huge price to learn the ways of magic. You might be thinking of Harry Potter but according to the stories I've read elsewhere, the majority mentioned that they did a lot of suffering and huge prices to pay to learn whatever it is that they wanted to learn and practice magic. So it's the same thing with IT, except we're more civilized and the price is a fair amount to be paid nowadays.

Once we've learned these IT skills, we will be able to live peacefully and comfortably. And if that's not your goal, then why not make money with it? Like; Troubleshooting your air-con? Learn how to fix it yourself or offer your service to those people who are sweating at homes. Got a virus in your PC system? Learn to prevent it and clean it out of your hard drive or offer an anti-virus program to anyone who is liable to getting hacked. Need better entertainment system for your money? Learn the features, make use of it to its full extent or if at all possible, make your own entertainment system and sell it. Your car not running? Learn auto-mobile and how it all works or offer your mechanical service to the public. (cars are machines and can be considered our robot of transportation.) There's loads and plenty of opportunities out there if you learn "The Magic of Technology"

So what are you waiting for? Learn more IT stuff. All techniques, gadgets, gizmos and mechanic stuff you can think of that should and ought to be learn is in your hand. Choose at your will and follow your "magic". Everything will fall into place on its own. Whether you wanna make money with your new found "magic", or just to make yourself comfortable whenever you have a problem, you know who to call. (I hope you answered "yourself" there =D)

Like my blog? Got any questions? Got additional information? Leave it in the comment section below. Thanks for reading. It was a mechanical day~ ;)

The Point of Success in any Business is being a better salesperson

So there are many factors to include regarding a business to be successful. Those are called Critical Success Factors (CSF). But where does the Point of Success lies? Is it in production? Is it in management? Is it in smart financial planning? No. The Point of Success (PoS) is the point in where you know that you're business is achieving or being successful. Any business can be measured on how successful they are and it's not on being luxurious with its physical environment. It's how much they make in sales. Hence, any businesses PoS is in sales. Every sale is as important as the business itself. If there is no sale at all, there wouldn't be a business. But it's a different story if you're business is owned by the government or if your business is meant for charity purposes only.
So what can you do in sales? Simple. Become a salesperson, or become a marketer. Generate or make more sales per day or per week or per month or even per year. There are many guides online to teach you on how to make more sales or by being a better salesperson. No matter what it is, you need more sales to make your business more successful. Read articles, blogs, news, guides, etc on how to become a better salesperson. But after I did a few browsing around, this is what I get from several guides. All points remained the same but I am gonna explain it a way for you to understand in my own words and maybe more:
Becoming A Better Salesperson:
(They are in no particular order as they are all just as important as the one before it and after.)
  1. Confidence - Knowing full well that a business cannot survive on its own without making money out of it. Making sure that the Return on Investment (ROI) is well worth over the Initial Investment. By being confident, there is a positive attitude towards a motivative goal in order to make more sales. Nobody will be able to take you seriously, if you're not confident enough to sell your product, service or business to the clients or other businesses. Confidence means everything, especially on a first impression.
  2. Playing the numbers game - In a world of sales, there will be customers objecting or rejecting your sale offer. To some customers, they may outright say,"No" for no reason at all. Its a harsh reality that any people doing sales will have to face. So in order to be successful, you have to play the numbers. Example, every 100 people comes into your store, 10 people bought something and the other 90 people just browsed around. So in a sense, your rate of success with each customer coming in is 10%.
  3. Quality over Quantity - Looking over some guides, I've found out that they always mention the "1 in 10 Rule" or "Every 9 No's, there's 1 Yes". All that I can agree with but I'd like to experiment this next tip by being more effective than efficient. It's true that you're not getting faster revenue this way but at least for anyone who is new, you may need to consider doing quality service. Making sure that instead of every 10 customers rate of success is 10%, why not increase that rate of success by another 10%? Because by looking at this small country, Brunei, there isn't a lot of people to play the numbers with. Around 350,000 people are in this country and if you take 10% of that is only 35,000. It may still seem a lot to most people but that is because you have not taken into consideration that getting that 10% would require at least 35,000 days to finish. (Assuming you contact 10 people per day and make that 10% sale.) As to the ratio of weeks, months and years to achieve that goal would be 5000 : 1167 : 95 respectively. So in the long run, you have 95 years to hit that 35,000 people to sale. Therefore, if you can manage to bring the rate of success higher, you would make that goal sooner than you think.
  4. Honesty or Trickery? - There are some parts of the Internet which I find agreeable but also arguable when doing sales. Some salespeople would prefer to be honest and tell the customers on what they will be getting after they make the purchase. Some salespeople used pressure and such trickery like "Once in a lifetime opportunity" in order to close the deal as soon as possible. (Though, people don't say trickery. I just named it that way on my point of view.) I find both ways to be useful and I find them to have both their pros and cons about it. However methods you choose to be, is of your own discretion:
    1. Honesty's Pros - All information provided. Customer relationship will bond stronger. Retention in sales. Potential increase of sales. Reliable payment. Useful feedback. Amount in sale may be less than expected. Rate of Success is higher.
    2. Honesty's Cons - Sale efficiency may be less. Slow start (offer) and finish (close the deal).
    3. Trickery's Pros - Sale may or may not be efficient. May include false information to close the deal. Short potential in sales. Amount in sale may sometimes or regularly be more than normal.
    4. Trickery's Cons - Improbable retention in sales. May or may not have a potential increase in sales. May come to unreliable payment. Customer relationship will bond for a short period of time. May or may not give the required feedback. Rate of success may be lower than expected.
  5. Knowing your stuff - Of course in every selling business, one would need to understand full well of the product or service that they are offering. Because once a customer asks a question and you cannot answer, there will be a high potential of loss in sale. Knowing your stuff includes its benefits, perks, added services, after-sale services, etc. Again, it may be repetition from the first one on confidence but things can never go wrong if you do know your stuff first before you start selling.
  6. Plan, plan and plan - After knowing your stuff, you need to find out what should you once you meet your potential buyer. Be mentally and emotionally prepared for anything that might happen upon meeting. Anything unexpected can happen. And any expected that could happen, that can be easily prepared by making a list of possible asked questions (or FAQ a.k.a. Frequently Asked Questions), and answer your customer accordingly. Then do your next step, what would you do if your customer does this? What would you do after you finished explaining your product? All of this are vital before meeting or contacting your prospects.
  7. Customer Relationship - Don't misunderstand this step. It doesn't really mean that you have to be in an "actual relationship" with your customer. But at least stay connected on both personal and business level with them, if they so choose. Being on a personal relationship as a friend or an acquaintance is fine enough. Getting to know your customers are what makes sales grow. To get sales is getting a customer. Growing your sales is growing the bond between you and the customer. Because once the customer finds you different than an ordinary salesperson (usually those salespeople tricks people in buying stuff for no apparent reason.), they'll begin to trust you. And then once that happens, they'll know who to give their contact to. Hence, more prospects more sales.
  8. The "No" word can be harsh - Always and almost always there will be customers that will say "No" to your product. Its a harsh world and you need to handle the frequent rejection if you're going to be in sales. As a matter of fact, if every time you hear the "n" word, and you cry and have not recovered from that sort of rejection, you shouldn't be in sales at all. There are ways to handle these rejections. And according to my experiences in having a relationship(and I mean having a girlfriend), I always ask; Why? What did I do wrong? How can I be better?; and the like to make sure that I can become a better boyfriend the next time. (Or sometimes I managed to change myself to stay with my girlfriend after the harsh feedback =D) Do the same in selling. Make sure that there's a good reason for them to say the "n" word and see if you can change their mind.
  9. Silence is definitely golden - Usually there are some salespeople who would walk into a meeting, talk and talk about the products and services they have, tell them how it works and what's it all about and ask them if they would like to buy it. And after that whole speech, the customer says,"No". Now isn't that a waste of time? First things first is to listen. This is why there are failed relationships. They fail to listen. Listening to your customer wants and needs and then satisfy them with the right product or service is the way to go. Listening is one of the most effective way to better understand your prospect. But some of them needs to be prompted with open-ended questions. Careful not to ask close-ended questions. They usually just make your sales a lot harder. With open-ended questions, your prospects will enjoy talking and giving out whatever information that may benefit you. It may be financial situation, problems, life, socially, domestic, etc. Any of these can be gained so easily if you just listen to them. So be silent enough to hear the golden dubloons shimmer.
  10. Closing the deal - Sometimes when you make a sale, you have not finished it. It's like you started a project on building a house but you didn't finish half of it. Because you need to close the deal. Once they're interested, make a follow up action. Ask for a sale. Usually when a really good opportunity arises, you have to make or break for it. These are usually a rookie's mistake and hopefully you won't make them. ;)
  11. Learn through experiences - I have found out from experienced sales personnel or other claimed to be masters of sales is that some of the sales technique cannot be learned online. You need to experience it first hand before you can get any better. If you can become a sale master in less than 6 months without any real training but learn things by the book, it would be incredible! However, everyone is a rookie in a sales world and will always start that way. And as time goes along, there will be more lessons in how to generate more revenue in a short period of time.
  12. If all else fails, have fun! - Though I'm not sure if this could happen to anyone. But I find it interesting after reading some guides somewhere that if you fail to sell, have fun! Enjoy talking with him/her, make sure that she comes out of the room or hang up the phone all comfortable like and have fun. Reason being is that you do not want your time wasted with a sale that didn't happen. So find another good purpose to make this contact. Having fun is the way to say,"at least I had fun selling this guy/gal" even if you didn't make any money out of it. Who knows? They might change their mind or views about you and give you another call or appoint another meeting.
And that is all I can provide at the moment. This is the result of my findings for a better salespeople research  just from the authors from the Internet alone and hopefully you can find it useful to read and learn from. If you're doing a business or just purely selling, all the best and good luck.

Bruneian Dollar on Mobile? 2 day blog break!

I don't know if you guys got the news but Bruneian Dollar is now on mobile! You can now go to bruneiandollar.mobisurf.mobi.

Sorry the actual wap name and portal for a mobile website is kinda expensive for me at the moment. But as soon as I get a job and regular income, I'll launch this all properly with actual domain names. And even while this is going on, I have not finished reading more wealthy books and journals to actually post anything up at the moment. But at the moment, I'd like you all to take a look at these:

  • Les Brown's Famous Quotes!
These quotes are said by Les Brown, a famous American Motivational Speaker. And he makes a living out of it. Just by speaking alone! I bet Brunei could do the same if anyone knows what they're talking about and how to channel that into cash.

  • Thanks to Queenie's comment. I've found this to be entertaining and educational to everyone. It teaches you how young entrepreneurs got to be rich in ways unexpected that I would have to expect them to be. There's already someone who got rich at my age as we speak! I envy these kinds of people and I highly recommend you buy their DVD and learn their stories.
That's all I could say at the moment seeing as I am very busy with other projects like writing my first e-book and reading more wealthy books. Its gonna take more time than I expected. So I would like announce that due to the unfortunate hours spent working on this blog and other projects, I will take a 2 day break from writing this blog and focus my time and energy on finishing my e-book earlier rather than for you all to wait till the end of November for its first release. So until then, check back soon from time to time. I have more to post after the 2 day blog break.

At the meantime, to all those new fans or existing readers, why don't you join bruneiandollar.ning.com? It's a social site where everyone can learn and share some business ideas. And who knows? You might find a trustworthy business partner to help venture the world of business!

Got any questions? Like my blog? Got more information? Leave it in the comment section below. Thanks for reading my blogs and hope to see you all again after my 2 day blog break!

Working as a Free Agent

As a busy person (Either busy studying for your exams or working all morning till afternoon), you can barely find the time nor energy left to do anything for the rest of your day.. Err, I meant for the rest of the evening. So what can you do to make more money if you do not have the time? Well here are some examples below as to how make more money during your evenings. It's called being a freelancer or a "Free Agent". The term was made by Azizi Ali from the millionaireplanet.com. (Besides, lepaking you can actually be as productive at night.)
  • Do part-time sales - If you had notice, there's plenty of job openings for salespeople. So why not apply for one and work at night? It's a good way to spend your time and who knows, you might get a decent commission while you're at it. Though I'm not sure about some companies around here in Brunei could actually accept someone who works for another company during the day and do sales at night. And I highly doubt that you can actually make any money this way. But if you do or did find any night salesperson working at night, let me know which company they are working for. So that I can include them as an example to be working for. Still doing this is better than lepaking. :P
  • Being a part-time custodian - I'll let that name "custodian" sink into your mind. It's a cool name, ain't it? Well be rest assured, that's a professional name for a janitor. Some find that a janitor's job is lucrative and not everyone wants to do that job. So usually, the job goes to the foreigners. It's common in every business since they couldn't find anyone to do the job. And since it's minimum wage, its kinda worth spending your nights at.
  • Be a freelancer of your own to other companies - This is what the Americans (or after watching Scrubs on DVD) call Moonlighting. The term's definition is having a second (untaxed) job besides having a first job. Now it's illegal to some or most countries/companies because of the employer to employee contract that implies that you cannot use your services or skills to work for another company. Since the employers get the fear that they're employee will bring poor performance the next day on the job. Also, employers are afraid that you might give away some confidential information to the public. But if you're working for another company with different skills and uses less of your time and effort at it, it could be worth considering and it's found legal to do as well.
  • Run a night business - Now some people find this discouraging to people's lives but it's not so bad. Running a night business is just as normal as running any business in the day. Except the business would either be extremely slow or fast depending on it's nature. Now if you do your research carefully, you might be able to make it a successful night business. One good example of a night business idea would be selling fast food like nasi katok, burgers, hot dogs, food for those people who lepak at your place instead. ;)
  • Work online - Now I did a lot of Internet Marketing lately, and I've noticed that you can get paid after doing certain and specific actions on the Internet. But then from my experiences, there are those sites who are claimed to be scams and sometimes just a waste of your time and effort for you to make money. Some just say "Refer us with your referral link : www.theirsite.com/ref?something.php=codes" which I find annoying a few years back. There are all kinds of work that can be paid online but I've never heard any Bruneians who ever made anything out of it though. Still need further researching and I'll see if I can find anything that can be considered legit and so that you won't have to waste your time for.
Check back for more updates regarding the working online. But if you choose to go ahead and try to work for these G.P.T. (Get Paid Today) or P.T.C. (Paid to Click) or P.P.S. (Paid Per Survey), I'd say do it at your own risk. They are not recommendations nor suggestions as of yet that I need more solid proof that they are legitimate especially to the Asian countries.

    Your Hidden Chakra~

    -We all had those days.
-Where we got our salary or allowance, we tend not budget at all and spend as much as we can but try to live it out till the next pay day.
    -We've all been there.
-Always racing to see who gets their first paycheck or trying to get your parents happy so you can get their money in their pockets.
Its a common experience that we all share. And because of this is happening, everyone is blinded by the value of money. So blinded that you couldn't tell if there was huge pile of money right under your eyes. (Is it me or am I getting eyebags?) This blindness of money is only an effect to a cause. And that cause is within each and everyone of us... Don't give me that look like you never had that feeling. Fine, if you don't know what I'm talking about, let me give you some hints.

    • It's color green.
    • It can take control over our body.
    • It screams to your mind and leads to disastrous outcome.
    • It hurts yourself and others around you.
"What? Are you claiming that we have incredible Hulk in us?", you asked...
And I laughed because of your misunderstanding,"No, I'm not talking about that green steroid monster or Jean Claude Van-Damme. I'm talking about a feeling that is called envy and greed."
    ENVY AND GREED
One or two of the most dangerous and sinful of all feelings...

10 Free Webdesigns to the first 10 people who wants it!

Update: The event of this post is over.

Seeing as this is my first blogging experience, I have yet fully optimized the usage of Blogger.com's facility. (I'm still tweaking and configuring and getting used to the new features of that this site can provide.)

I've started a news page where others can check what's new in the business world in both offline and online. You can check for more news at other links around my site and between posts should there be any relevancy. My own personal news can be found at the Wealth Vault located at the left of the webpage-->

Although, I won't be doing this full-time due to the lack of internet speed provided by Jabatan Telekom Brunei. (I'm still using e-speed and it still lags from time to time.) So in the meantime, bear with me as I try to provide an original BruneianDollar Newsfeed.

So on with the news, I have advertised on brudirect.com...

    Start a webcomic business

Update: Thanks to Sungai Recipe, now there is a malay version to this post! Click this link to go to her post: Memulakan perniagaan webcomic

LOL! ROFL! LMAO! Hahahaha! Hohohoho! Hehehehehe! And all the laughters that I can think of. These are the reactions of a successful webcomic business or if some preferred, an action-style/fantasy/adventure/horror webcomic. But mostly a successful webcomic would be into comedy. People will always look at the funnies or the cartoon pages in a newspaper or Astro Television programme or even on the Internet. And I can see that this is one of the many business opportunities for creative people. I, on the other hand, don't have that much creativity. I love logics and how things work accordingly and properly. The man with most common sense. Creativity on the other hand can move beyond logic or even around it. Like how surrealists think that time is really flowing by or they prefer to say "fish" rather than numbers. It's all very amusing and a profitable business should you choose to start a webcomic business.

And if you do start a webcomic business, then you need the following to make it work:

    Types of Powers

From my last blog (How can a Bruneian student be rich?), I have stated that there are different types of powers. Powers which can be used as a weapon to fight your competitors. Powers that can provide products or services towards the market. Powers where you can see through glass (That's just ridiculous.) Anyways, the powers you want through this blog are financial powers. Not Superpowers or mutated powers like DC World or X-men.

How can a Bruneian student be rich?

Now there are stories. Stories in how a person got lucky and stroke a million dollar lottery like the "Slumdog Millionaire". Or how a person could actually manage his business by exercising caution and strategies regardless of the challenges like "Thank you for Smoking". All these are fine and dandy and to some people, "they are just movies. So what?" Well I'll tell you what. The reasons why I've mentioned these movies is because they hold a secret message behind them. And I'm gonna explain it to you one step at a time on how are they even remotely related to a student to be rich.

New home-based business that can be done in Brunei

I've noticed that there aren't that many home-based businesses in Brunei. Either that or I haven't been out much. But besides the physically built and established home-based businesses, there are other ways to start a business or a trend where you can make money just by being at home. To me, I do not have the skills nor effort to do any of it. But I do know how it all works but it is just not me. Because you see, sometimes some businesses works from some people and some don't. Some would like to do the dirty work at an extreme environment and others would like to do the simple and yet well-structured environment. Different people, different businesses.
So here's what I got listed down on what kind of Home-Based businesses that I have scoured over the internet that can be implemented in a small yet, resourceful country like Brunei. But of course, it would all depends on how you would work at it and see if you enjoy it. I would recommend doing something that you enjoy doing regardless if the pay is little but worth it.

How to make money in a small country called Brunei while unemployed?

There are plenty of ways to make money. While I've been researching for the past 2 educative years (edutcative... is that a word?) of my life on how to make money was a dreadful experience. I have tried a lot of things every now and then. And still my research haven't been very fruitful. So I'm gonna tell you what I have found and learned in the past 2 years of my life now.
Basically, you can either make money by:
    • Spending money (the obvious way to make more money)
    • Spend your time/effort/skill (also known as a "JOB")
    • Use other people's money (also known as "OPM" to entrepreneurs)
